Tristan leads every order and project personally, from the first plant list to the final delivery and installation. One point of contact, one accountable person on every job, every time.

"I’ve always been drawn to business, but landscape design is the one thing that has never let go of me.

I grew up in the nursery and plant business alongside my father, Carlos Avila, and I have been doing landscaping in some form since I was a kid. Before I understood what a career even was, I was already learning how to transplant trees and care for landscapes. My childhood revolved around the same work I still do today, and that upbringing gave me something you cannot fake or shortcut: I know how this business actually works. I know what makes a landscape thrive, which species are essential to get right, and how every part of the job depends on the others.

Over the years, I watched my dad build a business that solves a real problem, growing and supplying the plant material that landscapers and builders depend on. CEDARWOOD exists to capitalize on that foundation. It operates in partnership with my father through Plant-Source US, LLC, out of Homestead, FL, bringing that same nursery access directly to the trade.

What keeps me in this work is simple. There is something genuinely peaceful about creating a living ecosystem, and having grown up inside this industry, I have never lost that feeling. CEDARWOOD is my way of building a business around something I was raised in and still know inside and out."
